1. Service Overview
Kilnov is a transactional customer communication service that enables participating businesses to respond to missed incoming phone calls with automated text messages. The service facilitates one-to-one conversational communication directly related to a consumer’s inquiry.
Kilnov does not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messaging campaigns.
2. Kilnov Missed Call Text Messaging Program
When a consumer initiates a phone call to a participating business and the call is not answered, Kilnov may send a single automated transactional text message in direct response to that missed call.
- Message frequency varies based on the consumer’s interaction.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
3. Consent
By initiating a phone call to a participating business that uses Kilnov, the consumer provides express consent to receive an automated transactional text message if the call is not answered.
Messages are only sent in response to consumer-initiated contact. Kilnov does not send unsolicited messages.
4. Business Subscribers
Businesses subscribing to Kilnov are responsible for complying with applicable telecommunications laws and ensuring their public-facing materials accurately disclose the use of automated transactional messaging.
5. Limitation of Liability
Kilnov is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Kilnov is not responsible for carrier delivery delays, message filtering, network outages, or indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amount paid by the subscribing business in the preceding 30 days.
6. Compliance
Use of the service is subject to carrier rules, CTIA guidelines, and applicable telecommunications regulations. Carriers may modify delivery policies at any time.
